Ringing in the Year of PHP'20
Let's give a round of applause to the new members of the PNG Health Project 2020 team! Each and every member is dedicated and passionate about improving health literacy amongst the younger generations. As always, we are here to Empower Youth Through Health.
We're a young student-run organisation at the University of Queensland with a big mission: educate the younger generation about the fundamentals of health. Every year, we are overwhelmed by the incredible support and enthusiasm the rest of our cohort demonstrates towards the project. As with the past couple of years, we had a record number of applicants for this year's trip! It made our decision very difficult as they were all highly qualified and keen to get involved.
That being said, we are tremendously excited to announce the new members in the PHP Family, who will be attending schools and hospitals in Papua New Guinea later this year. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, we are uncertain about dates at this time, but we will make every effort to ensure a smooth program again this year. With that in mind, please welcome the new PHP'20 Team!
Mental Health: Ella Coelin, Pele Toussaint, and Abigail Anderson

We have no doubt that these new members will do us proud this year and continue to help us achieve our goal of empowering youth through health. Thank you again to all of the applicants who supported our project!
